Genomics & Proteomics
The OSU Genomics & Proteomics Center provides millions of dollars of instrumentation
and OMICS expertise to the OSU research community.
The Genomics Center specializes in high-throughput DNA and RNA sequencing technologies, OMICS and training. The Proteomics Core provides world-class mass spectroscopy, proteomics analyses, and Sanger-based sequencing. The facilities have been operating for since 2002 using NIH-BRIN and NSF-EPSCOR funding, and grown through extramural and intramural competitive grants for instrument acquisition. We originate from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
