Genomics & Proteomics
The OSU Genomics & Proteomics Center provides millions of dollars of instrumentation
and OMICS expertise to the OSU research community.
The Genomics Center specializes in high-throughput DNA and RNA sequencing technologies,
OMICS and training. The Proteomics Core provides world-class mass spectroscopy, proteomics
analyses, and Sanger-based sequencing. The facilities have been operating for since
2002 using NIH-BRIN and NSF-EPSCOR funding, and grown through extramural and intramural
competitive grants for instrument acquisition. We originate from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the Ferguson College of Agriculture.
